In-person and online counselling, psychotherapy and emotional support services

“We think we listen, but very rarely do we listen with real understanding, true empathy. Yet listening of this very special kind is one of the most potent forces for change that I know” - Carl Rogers

Client Feedback

Sally's office with two gray armchairs, a wooden side table between them with stacked books, an alarm clock, and tissues, a plush area rug, a potted plant, a framed picture on the wall, and a closed door.

What happens next?

Once you’ve contacted me, we’ll set up a mutually convenient time to have a chat on the phone. This is free of charge and lasts up to half an hour. If you decide you would like to go ahead after this, we will book in an introductory session where we can meet in person (or online if preferred).

Clients usually come for counselling once a week, often at the same time. Sessions last for 50 minutes. Whilst initially it is ideal for the sessions to take place weekly to help build a strong working relationship, I appreciate that this is not always possible and I am happy to accommodate different requirements.
